Pagani Huayra. Modern day Isdera Commendatore 112i?

The facts

Pagani just released it's replacement for the Zonda dubbed "Huayra" which is a mid engined bi turbo supercar to take on the next generation of Supercars such as the Lamborghini Aventador, Bugatti Veyron, Hennessey Venom GT and even the Ferrari XXX due next year to replace the Enzo.

This new Supercar from Pagani continues its tradition using a Mercedes-AMG V12 engine backed by a 7 speed transmission sequential cross. AMT robotic system with driving programs. The total weight will be some were in the neighborhood of 3000lbs even! with 44% up front and 56% weight distribution making this car well balanced compared with most supercars of today it will make for an impressive machine at the track, strip or even out on a road course.

The Bottom line

I love this car and so far it's become my favorite new aged Supercar with it's Isdera styling going back to the classic supercar routes of gullwing doors and retaining the signature Pagani interior and design. The only major downside to this car is price. At over a million dollars each you can't expect to not see many of these in it's life time out on the roads. Most people who will be owning them will most likely keep them in a safe tamed environment. But for those who plan on seeing what it can do I'm going to make the prediction now that it's going to surpass the Lamborghini Aventadator in performance and be right up there with the best from Koenigsegg, Mclaren and Bugatti. It may even offer a great challenge to Ferrari's enzo replacement due out next year. Only time will tell if this car is going to become the best of 2011-2021 generation of supercars but I look forward to seeing it's design evolve and the car to become better with time. Pagani took their time with this one and they recycled the right stuff and brought in even better idea's to make this car almost perfect.
